The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between vocabulary learning strategies and reading comprehension, as well extent which contributed students' comprehension. correlational research design used for study. sample 68 students chosen using purposive technique. questionnaire on comprehension test were collect data Pearson Product Moment regression analysis analyze obtained data. found that scores in average range. First, with a p-value 0.003 less than alpha value 0.05, there significant tenth-grade at SMA N 10 Palembang. R-value of.358 indicates Ha accepted Ho (null hypothesis) automatically rejected. A low discovered Palembang students. Second, revealed 0.128 influences strategy implying contribution interaction effect 12.8%.
